West Pines and LSPPOA have collaborated since the onset of the COVID pandemic to foster a spirit of community support for those in need. While food donations are valuable, monetary contributions are particularly impactful, as they enable the Food Bank to procure perishable goods and other essential items more effectively. The community is invited to join the Kids' Fishing Derby. The generous contributions of LSPPOA, the Bancroft Area Stewardship Council, and Mack Attack Outdoors, have provided 4 gift bags filled with non-lead fishing tackle prizes for the children. This initiative also aims to promote awareness about the importance of Fishing without Lead.

Hastings Highlands Library will be there teaching kids how to tie their own fly fishing tackle in support of this year's 'Fish Lead Free' initiative!
